Why is Kerala the best off-shoot tourist destination compared to any other?

The state as a whole is a destination you cannot miss. The beauty is beyond borders, from Chai, Football, Fish curry, Kathakali up to motorised beaches and beautiful resorts.

Let's find out 7 reasons why everybody's got the heart on Kerala.

1. Food:

I don't immerse myself in their parotta and beef curry. The way in which Kerala food has a healthy diet in its own segments is quite incredible.

You're going to experience pink coloured water every time you enter Kerala? The Pathimugam or Indian red wood, which has been soaked with water has its own medical advantages. Apart from the rice they serve to the fish they catch, they have the best diet to offer. Other than this never miss their Puttu.

2. Beautiful Backwaters:

You will find panoramic beauty in every house in Kerala. This place is a watery paradise for its network of canals, lagoons to their tropical ecosystem tourism, you can't miss an eye on it. Each district in Kerala has its own contribution of backwaters that make the entire state called the Venice of India. From Kayaking, Houseboats to the most famous boat races, they have a place in our hearts. Never miss a ride in their Alleppey Backwaters!

3. Nehru Trophy:

Guys! Never miss this segment. At least before you die, visit this rage of competition in Punnamada Lake near Allappuzha. It is the most popular boat race, and it attracts thousands of tourists all over the world. The snake boats are moved by 128 paddlers with utter concentration and the beat. The boat is only as strong as the people in it. One could see the true sportsmanship here!

4. Underrated destinations:

There is a long list. From Palakkad, Vagamon to Kollam, the beauty it offers is something beyond magic. The Western Ghats has its own flora and fauna, which makes the place called the monsoon beauty. Bikers and trekkers find this spot as the paradise and its in everyone's bucket list.

5. Chenda Melam:

The most popular beat in the country is Chenda Melam. One can’t stop enjoying the beat when it is played. It's the emotions for the Keralite people. From Onam festivals, Marriages to the great boat races, it carries the pride of beat.

6. Chasing waterfalls:

In Kerala you can find unique and wonderful destinations which each year attract many tourists. The place renowned for its waters is also an opportunity to hunt waterfalls for many trekkers. It roars with its water and is surrounded by beautiful water ghats. While Athirapally is well known, the state contains many hidden gems. Begin to chase the cascades!

7. Eco-Tourism:

Kerala, named as one of the ten paradises of the world by National Geographic Traveler, Kerala is famous especially for its ecotourism initiatives and beautiful backwaters. Its unique culture and traditions, coupled with its varied demography, have made Kerala one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world. Those who saw the film Kumbalangi Nights are well aware of the state's virtual treatment.

It is always a must visit from the best sunrises to the most beautiful sunset places, the joy of monsoon rain and the celebration of life.

I had my best trips in Palakkad, Kozhikode, Thiruvananthapuram and Cochin. The bus rides to the monsoon rains, It enriched me with the real bliss of nature.

Hope this year we get to enrich our favorite spots. Do comment the place which you want to visit after lockdown. It can start from your friends home to the great Himalayas.
